This in-depth tour, led by a farm educator, explores our four season growing operation through visiting our greenhouses, cold frames, growing fields, annual & perennial gardens, and composting area. Get to know our heritage livestock and how they contribute to our integrated, sustainable practices. See what it takes to grow a wide variety of organic crops and to produce value-added items like eggs, yarn, honey and more.

RegisterWeekday Small Group Visits
Groups of up to 20 people (including staff) visiting from a school or organization, must register in advance for a weekday self-guided visit. This program is limited to 20 or fewer participants per organization or school (including staff). Groups check-in in the Farm Store/Welcome Center and receive a map for a self-guided exploration of the historic site, gardens, and livestock at their own pace. Groups can also ask for the farm’s scavenger hunt!
Tickets: $1 per person
Please note:
- We recommend self-guided groups visit after 1:00pm if possible
- Peak visiting hours are between 10:00am and 1:00pm from Monday-Friday, October-June when school groups are visiting. Restroom congestion is common during these times
- Lunch space is not guaranteed for self-guided groups
- Hayride tickets can be purchased at the Farm Store at check-in for $6/person. PLEASE NOTE: self-guided groups typically cannot hayride until 1pm due to congestion with guided groups in the mornings
Weekend Policy for Small Groups (Saturday & Sundays):
Registration and admission fees do not apply for self-guided groups visiting on weekends. However, if your group has 20 or more participants please contact Queens Farm at least two weeks in advance to arrange a guided visit. Admission fees apply for guided group visits depending on program registration.
