Stay Tuned | Holi Celebration
March 29 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
$10 – $13
Join us for a special first-time Holi Celebration – Festival of Colors at the Queens County Farm Museum! This joyous Hindu festival invokes blessings for a fruitful spring harvest and honors the divine love of the gods Radha and Krishna.
As we welcome the arrival of spring and the harvest season, join us for an educational program to learn about the rich cultural and spiritual significance of Holi. We’ll explore its origins, evolution, and how it’s celebrated around the world—right here in Queens! Featuring traditional dancers, Indian snacks and treats, immerse yourself in the delight of color play, where the vibrant powders create a kaleidoscope of joy as we run across the scenic south side of our 47-acre farm.
Guests are encouraged to wear white clothing that they don’t mind getting stained and to bring towels or a sheet for the ride home.
