What’s Growing On?
It’s spring at Queens Farm! Learn about the beginning of the growing season and how farmers prepare the fields, plant seeds, and care for livestock. We’ll explore STEM concepts through a guided exploration of the farm and ask questions like: Where does our food come from? What do our animals need to thrive as the weather warms? This program includes visits to the hens, steers, goats, sheep, alpaca, and honeybees, as well as a tractor-drawn hayride. Each participant will transplant an edible seedling to take home! Following the program, participants are encouraged to remain on the farm to keep exploring with a self-guided nature scavenger hunt.
Click here to apply. Application CLOSED as of February 10.
