Rainforest Terrariums

Join our Education team for a special hands-on program in honor of World Rainforest Day! Dive into the incredible world of rainforests and learn what it takes to build your very own rainforest terrarium. This hands-on experience will not only teach you about these amazing ecosystems but also let you create a mini version of a rainforest to take home.

Guests will learn what a rainforest is, where they are located, and why they are so important to the global ecosystem. Explore the canopy structure that allows so many different animals and plants to thrive, and where the different animals live in various parts of the rainforest. Then, dive into our guided workshop on creating a rainforest terrarium, where you’ll receive step-by-step instructions on how to layer your terrarium and how to care for your it.
