April 6 @ 11:00 am - 12:15 pm
$12![](https://www.queensfarm.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Carousel_Apiary01.jpg)
Buzz on over to Queens Farm for a sweet adventure with our Bug Buddies Program as we celebrate the incredible world of honeybees! On April 6, we’re opening the doors to our apiary for an up-close look at these essential pollinators and the vital role they play in our ecosystem.
Did you know that honeybees are responsible for pollinating one-third of the food we eat? From fruits and vegetables to nuts and flowers, these tiny workers keep our plates full and our planet thriving. During this program, you’ll learn all about the fascinating life of honeybees, their hive dynamics, and how they produce that golden nectar we all love—honey!
Classes will take place both outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors. All classes are hands-on, exploratory, and include a related activity.
Recommended for ages 3-10 years old, but all are welcome. One parent or guardian must remain with child(ren) at all times, this is not a drop-off program.
