Self-Guided Groups

Groups of 20 or fewer people including staff, visiting from a school or organization, must register in advance for a weekday self-guided visit. This program is limited to two groups per weekday with a maximum of 20 participants per organization (including staff). At check-in, visitors receive a map for a self-guided exploration of our 47-acres of historic farmland, gardens, and livestock at their own pace.

You must register in advance. Click here to register online.

  • Admission: $1/student or consumer (staff is free).
  • Check-in at our Welcome Center (which also houses our Gift Shop).
  • Animal feed can be purchased in the Welcome Center ($18 for a large bag of alfalfa).
  • We recommend self-guided groups visit after 1:00 pm if possible as peak visiting hours are between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm from Monday-Friday, October-June when school groups are visiting. Restroom congestion is common during these times.
  • Lunch tables are not available for self-guided groups, during 10am-12:30pm when guided groups are visiting (year-round).
  • Hayrides and entry to the Pumpkin Patch (in October) are not permitted for Self-Guided Groups.

NOTE: Groups that are not in compliance with this policy may be asked to leave.
